Banyan’s Mobile Health Clinic (Banyan Care Mobile) was developed to help serve the urgent medical needs of families in our South Florida communities. The mobile health unit is rooted in Banyan’s mission to transform communities by improving the health of at-risk populations and strengthening families. By creating healthier families, we strengthen our communities.

Mobile Health Outreach in Miami-Dade County

Banyan’s Mobile Health program provides primary medical care, behavioral care, including mental health and substance abuse help, along with health education services for adults and children. The mobile clinic team includes multilingual licensed nurse practitioners, behavioral health specialists, and certified medical assistants.

This innovative and inclusive program operates from a customized trailer that has been transformed into a state-of-the-art mobile clinic with two private exam rooms and wheelchair accessibility. Uninsured adults and children can receive a wide range of services, including preventative care, health screenings, behavioral health care, and management and care coordination of chronic health conditions such as hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes, and asthma. Health education, pharmacy services, and referrals to specialists are also provided.

Who Can Get Care From Banyan Mobile Health?

Banyan Community Health Centers Federally Qualified Health Center that strive to provide care to anyone who needs it with a focus on underserved, marginalized, and at-risk populations. We provide care regardless of ability to pay or insurance status—you can recieve care if you are uninsured or underinsured and we also accept Medicaid and most insurance plans.
