24 Hour Crisis Services

Acting immediately in a behavioral health crisis can have save a life. A crisis can be any situation in which someone experiences a sudden loss of ability to use effective problem-solving and coping skills. Crisis intervention offers immediate short-term help to people experiencing an event that produces unmanageable emotional, mental, physical, and behavioral distress or problems.

Behavioral health crises can have lifelong consequences, sometimes becoming a matter of life or death if not quickly controlled. Our 24 Hour Crisis Services center stabilizes people experiencing acute emotional or substance abuse episodes. We are a State of Florida Marchman Act and Baker Act public receiving facility, and provide comprehensive treatment alternatives and continuity of care for behavioral health crises.

In the event of a behavioral health emergency, call our Crisis Hotline immediately. Our Crisis Service center is open twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, and our Crisis Teams are in a constant state of readiness.

Our interdisciplinary crisis stabilization teams include a licensed psychiatrist, registered nurse, acute treatment specialist, and other support staff who work together to control a crisis, to stabilize, redirect, and support crisis recovery.

We provide brief, intensive crisis assessment and secure, residential intervention for a period not exceeding five days for the mentally ill in crisis who are in a non-violent, non-combative, acutely disturbed mental state. Our purpose is to stabilize and redirect our crisis patients to the most appropriate and least restrictive available community setting consistent with their needs.
