BANYAN HEALTH SYSTEMS was founded by SPECTRUM PROGRAMS and MIAMI BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER, nonprofit organizations that are licensed and accredited to provide behavioral and primary health services in the State of Florida. SPECTRUM PROGRAMS is licensed by the Florida, Department of Children and Families and accredited by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, the internationally recognized leader in accreditation of providers of health and human services. MIAMI BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER is also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Its primary care health clinic in Miami’s Little Havana, POR TU SALUD, is licensed by AHCA, the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
